One of the unique strengths of WEST is our ability to develop, source, and manage unique solutions tailored to fit your marketing objectives. These programs have become as diverse as the customers we serve. For the most part, the examples shown here can not be found by using any conventional supplier, but are a fully customized, sourced overseas, or created from scratch. For more information on these, or any other item you may have in mind, please feel welcome to contact us at any time.

USB drive    Objective: a practical, memorable, promotional item for a high tech company.
Solution: a USB drive, sourced from overseas for it's unique appearance and excellent cost. This item was pre-loaded with software demos and marketing materials, making it a highly effective piece, and was very well received.
Filled backpack    Objective: a universally useful gift for an event in the Canadian Rockies.
Solution: a well-stlyed backpack, stuffed with a selection of useful gifts: a disposable camera, lip balm, a warm fleece blanket, a trail mix pack, bottled water, and a rain poncho, all printed with the event logo.
Hawaiian shirt    Objective: a Hawaii-related product launch, with a short turn-around time.
Solution: for this project, we found an excellent shirt manufacturer in Oahu, and completed roughly 300 pieces in under one week, complete with embroidery, and under budget.
Digital thermometer    Objective: a government office running a health awareness campaign.
Solution: a digital thermometer. This item was a big hit during the event, and reinforced the intended message long after the program was completed because it's practical usefulness.
Lucky bamboo    Objective: 15 year anniversary celebration.
Solution: individual "lucky" bamboo floral arrangements. A package of three live bamboo shoots, an etched glass vase and decorative stones were shipped to every company employee in 8 countries, all coordinated to arrive on the same date.
Custom Scoop pullover    Objective: uniforms for an outdoor tour company's guides.
Solution: take our popular Scoop polar fleece pullover design, and manufacture it from CoolMax. With materials selected to match the company's corporate colors, this garment was the perfect balance of style and function.
Laser etch logo    Objective: a rustic, inexpensive logo for a wooden picture frame.
Solution: part of a number of flexible logo solutions that we offer, for this item we chose to laser etch the event design, which matched the theme of the event perfectly, and was less costly than a printed design.
Nalgene bottle    Objective: a conference encouraging group bookings in a resort town
Solution: a Nalgene, premium Lexan water bottle, printed with the event logo, and filled with participant contact and marketing materials was distributed to all attendees. A very well received promotion.
Objective: a large, "powerful" logo applied to microfleece.
Solution: embroidery is very expensive for large designs, and printing in not possible on microfleece, so we designed a fabric applique that was sewn to the design for a fraction of the cost, and with a great overall effect.
Custom Temple polar jacket    Objective: provide an alternative to a discontinued leather-trimmed jacket.
Solution: take our Temple garment pattern, and manufacture it using a shade of tan nylon to give the appearance of leather, which both reduced the garment cost, and the special care that the leather version required.
